Encounter in the Palace of Belém
The President of the Republic held a meting, in the Palace of Belém, with approximately 40 economists, in an Encounter concerning “Portugal in the post-troika period”.
In the initial session, where President Cavaco Silva delivered an opening speech, addresses were also delivered by the Director General for Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Commission, Marco Buti, and by the Governor of the Bank of Portugal, Carlos Costa.
In the working lunch that followed, participants continued their debate on the Encounter’s subject matter.
