President’s Speech
The President of the Republic delivered an address at the First Plenary Session of the Iberian American Summit which is being held in Vera Cruz, Mexico, where the debating themes were “Education & Culture”.
In his speech, President Cavaco Silva mentioned the fact that he had been on the founders of the Iberian American Community, in 1991, and that this would be the last summit he would attend.
After the end of the First Plenary Session, the Heads of State and of Government took part in a dinner hosted by the Mexican President, Enrique Peña Nieto.
