Decoration ceremony
In his official visit to the Republic of Korea, the President of the Republic held an encounter with the resident Portuguese Community.
During this gathering, President Cavaco Silva decorated three Korean citizens with several grades of Portuguese Honorific Orders.
The decorated individualities were Hong Ji-woong, editor of Open Books and director of the Mimesis Museum of Art, in Seoul, Yoo Un-Seong, university lecturer and director of the Korean Film Library, and Mi-Jeong Park, diplomatic dignitary in the Portuguese Embassy in the Korean capital since its opening, 26 years ago.
