In Macau Government Headquarters
At the beginning of his visit to the Macau Special Administrative Region, the President of the Republic held a meeting with the Chief Executive, Fernando Sui Chai On, in the headquarters of the local Government.
The Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, Rui Machete, and the Region’s Chief Executive later subscribed the Revised Protocol of the Cooperation Framework Agreement between Portugal and Macau, after which President Cavaco Silva and Fernando Sui Chai On held a press conference.
Prior to this, at the arrival in Macau International Airport, the President of the Republic was received by the Secretary for Administration and Justice of the Region’s Government, Ms. Florinda Chan.
