Ceremony in the Palace of Belém
The President of the Republic decorated individualities that achieved distinction in the Internationalization of the Portuguese Economy.
The President of the Republic awarded Eng. Fernando Manuel Barbosa Faria de Oliveira with the Grand Cross of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator; Dr. Maria Lidia Ferreira Sequeira with the grade of Grand Officer of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator, and Dr. Pedro Trigo de Morais de Albuquerque Reis with the grade of Grand Officer of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator.
Dr. Alexandre Carlos de Melo Vieira da Costa Relvas, Dr. António Luís Teixeira Guerra Nunes Mexia and Dr. Filipe Mauricio de Botton were decorated with the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit – Class of Industrial Merit.
