Due to the passing away of Ernesto da Silva Ferreira, and after discussions were held with the Portuguese Football Federation and the person being decorated, the Presidency of the Republic decided to postpone the decoration ceremony of the football player and captain of the National Team, Cristiano Ronaldo, foreseen for next Tuesday, 7 January.
The decoration ceremony will be held, in the Palace of Belém, on Monday 20 January, at 15:00 hours.
