Concert by Gisela João
The 5th October celebrations and the programme of commemorative activities led to the Palace of Belém, open yesterday to the public, nearly three thousand five hundred people.
Visits to the Palace, to its gardens, to the exhibitions “Portuguese Music – a View into Itself” and musical performances took place throughout the day.
Gisela João closed the programme of concerts and activities in the Palace of Belém, which included performances of the Musical Workshop “Concert for Birds and other crooners”, the “Mirandesas” Dance Workshop and the concerts: Harp by Ana Isabel Dias, “Monsanto” Tambourine Players and Tambourine & Metal Bowls, “Aldeia Nova de São Bento” Choristers, Lavoisier, “Miranda Pauliteiros” and Galandum Galundaina”.
