President Cavaco Silva carried out programme in the North with young entrepreneurs who do not abdicate

The President of the Republic held, in Valongo, a programme of visits to companies led by young entrepreneurs, comprised in his initiative “Youth and the Future of the Economy”, on this occasion with the topic “The Real Economy: Entrepreneurs that will not abdicate”.

This programme, carried out in the North of the Country, follows the initiative held February last in the Palace of Belém, under the topic “Youth and the Future of the Economy”, a meeting intended to debate several topics related with young entrepreneurialism which was attended by more than 50 young entrepreneurs and managers.

President Cavaco Silva visited, in Valongo, the Colquímica Company, producer of adhesives and glues, whose director, João Rafael Koehler, is also the Chairman elect of the National association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE), who carried out a presentation of the work developed by young entrepreneurs since the meeting held in the beginning of the year, in the Palace of Belém.

At the closure of the programme, the President of the Republic delivered a speech.
