Meeting of the Supreme Council for National Defence

The Supreme Council for National Defence met, at an extraordinary session, presided by the President of the Republic.

At the end of the meeting, held in the Palace of Belém, an Informative Note was published.

Following is the text of the Informative Note:

“The Supreme Council for National Defence analysed the situation of our Forces and the perspectives of evolution in the countries where they are deployed. The Council gave a favourable view to a Governmental proposal in order that, within the scope of the United Nations stabilization mission in the Republic of Mali, three officers render service to the General Staff of the International Force as well as a transport aircraft with its respective crew and support personnel, during a three month period”.
