The President of the Federal Republic of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff, will visit Portugal on 10 June instant, at the invitation of President Cavaco Silva.
The visit’s official programme will start, on the afternoon of that same day, with a Welcome Ceremony in the Palace of Belém, where President Dilma Rousseff will be received by the President of the Republic, this being followed by a working meeting between the two Heads of State. The programme for this same afternoon will also include a meeting with the Prime Minister.
In the evening, both Heads of State will attend the award ceremony of the presentation of the Camões Prize to author Mia Couto, n the Palace of Queluz, this being followed cy An official dinner.
In her visit to Portugal, the retinue of the President of the Federal Republic of Brazil will comprise several members of the Brazilian Government.
