Ceremony held in the Houses of Parliament
The President of the Republic took part, in the Houses of Parliament, in the Commemorative Ceremony of the 39th Anniversary of 25th April, where he delivered a speech.
After the ceremony was over, and accompanied by the Speaker, Mrs. Assunção Esteves, President Cavaco Silva attended the inaugural act of Parliament’s Welcoming Centre for Citizens, housed in the Former Refectory of the Benedictine Monks.
