Lima Mayor paid tribute to President
On the second day of his visit to Peru, the President of the Republic was received in Lima City Council, where the Mayor, Susana Villarán, honoured him with the award of the City’s Medal.
In a ceremony intended to celebrate the visit of President Cavaco Silva, the Mayor delivered a speech, which was answered by an address by the Portuguese Head of State.
Prior to this, the President of the Republic had also visited, in the Peruvian capital, the Convent of Saint Francis and its Museum.
