Meeting between Presidents
At the start of his official visit to Peru, the President of the Republic met, in Lima, his counterpart Ollanta Humala, with whom he held a meeting, after which the two Heads of State attended the signing of three agreements between the Governments of Both countries.
The military honours awarded to President Cavaco Silva included a cavalry escort that rode through several of the central streets of the Peruvian capital.
Later, the Peruvian President hosted, in the Presidential Palace, a dinner in the honour of the Portuguese Head of State, in which took part members of Parliament and entrepreneurs included in his retinue on this visit.
