Portugal, FILBO’s guest of honour
The President of the Republic, jointly with his Colombian counterpart Juan Manuel Santos, attended the inaugural act of the Bogotá International Book Fair (FILBO) and the opening of the Portuguese Pavilion, Portugal being the exhibition’s guest of honour in the current year.
After the inaugural ceremony, during which President Cavaco Silva addressed a speech, the two Heads of State visited the pavilion which exhibited thousands of books by Portuguese authors, some of whom attended the inaugural act.
