The President of the Republic decorated various personalities during the ceremony celebrating the National Day of Portugal, of Camões and of the Portuguese Communities, which took place in Setúbal.
Following the discourse of the President of the Organizing Committee of the Commemorations, Dr. João Bénard da Costa, President Cavaco Silva proffered a speech.
During the ceremony, the President decorated 37 personalities who had made relevant contributions in their diverse activities.
