Prize presentation in CGD
The President of the Republic attended the annual dinner of the Journalists’ Club, during which the 2011 Gazette Prizes for Journalism were presented.
Awards went to journalists Alexandre Soares, Revelation Prize, Jorge Simão, Photography Prize, José Manuel Rozendo, Radio Prize, Amélia Moura Ramos and Miriam Alves, Television Prize (ex-aequo), and Paulo Moura, Press Prize. The “Journal of Barcelos” was awarded the Regional Press Prize.
The 2011 Gazette Merit prize was awarded to journalist Fialho de Oliveira.
During the ceremony, which was held in the Main Hall of Caixa Geral de Depósitos Bank, in Lisbon, the President of the Republic delivered a speech.
