Meeting with personalities
Following the programme of the commemorations of the National Day of Portugal, of Camões and of the Portuguese Communities, the President of the Republic met and had lunch with national and Setúbal personalities whose various activities were relevant to the Nation and to Setúbal.
The meeting was held in the Setúbal Museum of Labour, which was visited by President Cavaco Silva, together with the invited personalities.
Before lunch, the President presented a Portuguese guitar to the Goan musician Orlando Mascarenhas.
