Manuel Pinto da Costa em Visita de Estado
At the beginning of his State Visit to Portugal, the President of the People’s Republic of S. Tomé and Principe, Manuel Pinto da Costa, was welcomed in the Palace of Belém by the President of the Republic.
After having been to the Jerónimos Monastery, where he laid a wreath on the tomb of Luis Vaz de Camões, the President of the Republic of S. Tomé and Principe arrived at the Palace of Belém, where he was received with military honours.
The President of the Republic then held a meeting with the S. Tomé and Principe Head of State, in which the respective retinues took part.
At the end of the working meeting, both Presidents made statements to the Media.
