Bronislaw Komorowski welcomed in Belém
At the beginning of the State Visit they are holding to Portugal, the President of the Republic of Poland, Bronislaw Komorowski, and Mrs. Anna Komorowska, were welcomed, in the Palace of Belém, by the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva.
After visiting the Jerónimos Monastery, where he laid a wreath on the tomb of Luiz Vaz de Camões, the President of Poland was greeted with military honours in the Palace of Belém.
President and Mrs. Cavaco Silva then held a meeting with the Polish President and Mrs. Anna Komorowska, which was followed by a meeting between the Portuguese Head of State and his Polish counterpart, this being joined by the respective retinues.
At the end of the working meeting, both Presidents gave statements to the media.
