Earmarking the date of the Empowerment of Prof. Doctor Aníbal Cavaco Silva on his second mandate as President of the Republic, on 9 March, the Official Internet Site of the Presidency will be provided from that date onwards with new features, confirming it as a reference for the use of new Information and Communication Technologies within the scope of institutional communication.
The Official Page of the Presidency of the Republic will from now on be compatible with mobile and tactile appliances, with optimized versions for mobile phones, thus reaching a growing number of users of new technology platforms.
Improvements were also introduced in navigation on the Official Site, enhancing its compatibility with Tablets – easy navigation screens – specifically in visualizing photographs.
The Search shows novelties in the location of existing contents, thus easing their access to the users of the pages of the Presidency.
Keeping to its identity, the Site of the Presidency also points out graphic alterations in the design and organization of some of its areas, such as the Agenda and the new area of the Portuguese Honorific Orders.
On the occasion of the Empowerment of the President of the Republic, the Official Site will make available a specific area for information specific to the date of 9 March.
A new Multimedia area, allowing greater prominence for videos, audios, photo galleries and presentations will be made available in the next few days.
The Presidency of the Republic will soon present other ICT novelties, specifically with reference to the social networks.
