Prize awarded to ASTA
The President of the Republic attended, in the Stock Exchange Palace, in Porto, the closing session of the Portugal Solidarity Conference, organized by the Manuel António da Mota Foundation and by TSF-Rádio Jornal Radio Station.
In the presence of the representatives of the finalist bodies, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva delivered the Manuel António da Mota Prize to Mrs. Maria José Fonseca, Chairman of the Almeida Socio-Therapeutic Association, a social solidarity private institution from the village of Cabreira, Almeida, in the Guarda district.
At the end of the session, the President of the Republic addressed a speech to the assembled company.
