Hu Jintao received in Belém
The President of the Republic welcomed, in the Palace of Belém, the President of the People’s Republic of China, Hu Jintao, who is carrying out a State Visit to Portugal.
After the military honours upon arrival, the two Presidents, Mrs. Cavaco Silva and Mrs. LiuYongqing had a private meeting, after which a meeting was held between the two Heads of State and respective delegations.
At the end of the meeting, Presidents Cavaco Silva and Hu Jintao made statements to the media.
