The book “Presidential Routes”

President considers in book that the “Routes” were an effective means of alert for society and for mustering the Portuguese

"An effective means to alert society for causes that concern us all and to sensitize and muster the Portuguese in their defence and promotion" is how the President of the Republic qualifies his “Presidential Routes” initiative in the introduction to the book with this name, now published.

Also available digitally in the site of the Presidency of the Republic, the book “Presidential Routes” describes the forays that the Routes promoted in topics such social inclusion, science, historical and cultural heritage, youth and the innovatory communities, providing visibility to the good examples and best practices followed by many citizens and institutions throughout the whole Country.

"Many of the issues dealt with gained support after being increasingly singled out in public opinion and in the political agenda” states President Aníbal Cavaco Silva in the introduction to the work which he called “A propitious initiative”.
