Arrival in Gaia
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural act of the Gaia Civic Centre, built around the City Hall, and was received in a ceremony held at the City Hall, where he was presented, by the Mayor and Aldermen, with the Gold Medal of Merit of the Municipality.
Later, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva went to the Afurada quarter where, next to the local quay he was shown the project of the future Gaia Atlantic Marina.
