Visit to Sardoal
The President of the Republic attended the commemorative ceremony of the 479th anniversary of the issuing of a Royal Charter to Sardoal as a Town and to that of the 500th anniversary of the town’s Holy Almshouse.
Upon arrival, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva was given an official reception in the County Hall, after which he presided at the inaugural act of the Lúcio Serras Pereira Residential Unit, of the Sardoal Holy Almshouse.
