Ethnographic Cortege in Ponte de Lima
The President of the Republic attended the Ethnographic Cortege, included in the Ponte de Lima County Festivals –
“Feiras Novas”.
A typical and unique festival, this is one of the most representative popular pilgrimages of the High Minho region, continuing faithful to the traditions and local customs of Ponte de Lima. This grand festival, from the most ancient Village in Portugal, was created in 1826 by King Dom Pedro IV.
