On the occasion of the 4th Campaign of the Route to Innovatory Local Communities, the President of the Republic will decorate, as recognition of their merit, several individualities who distinguished themselves throughout their lives and in the exercise of their activities.

The award ceremony will take place during the Closing Ceremony of the 4th Campaign of the Route, carried out in the West Lisbon Metropolitan Area which will also be used as a Session of Recognition of the Merit of the individualities to be decorated.

Following are the individualities who will receive the awards, with the indication of the orders and degrees of the insignia to be presented by the President of the Republic:
 

• Dr. Carlos Alberto Andrade Neves – Commander of the Order of Prince Henry
  the Navigator
• Dr. José Luís Vieira de Castro – Commander of the Order of Prince Henry
  the Navigator
• Dinarte Machado – Commander of the Order of Merit
• Pe. Fernando da Silva Martins – Commander of the Order of Merit
• Dr. Nuno Altino Fernandes Dias – Commander of the Order of Merit
