Tribute paid to Joćo de Deus
In the beginning of the celebrations of the National Day of Portugal, Camões and the Communities, which are held in Faro, The President of the Republic paid tribute to poet and pedagogue João de Deus.
The ceremony took place in Manuel Bívar Garden, where the President laid a wreath of flowers next to the monument to João de Deus, after which he went to Arco da Vila, to listen to a performance of the choir of the João de Deus School.
