Farewell in Porto
The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva took their leave from Pope Benedict XVI in Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, Porto, at the end of His four day visit to Portugal.
On the occasion, and after listening to the last papal speech in Portuguese territory, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva uttered a farewell address to the Pope.
Earlier, in Aliados Avenue, central Porto, the President and his wife attended the last religious celebration held by Benedict XVI in Portugal.
