Ceremony in Praça do Império
President Cavaco Silva attended the Commemorative Ceremony of the 99th Anniversary of the National Republican Guard (GNR), which were held in Praça do Império.
During the ceremony, the President of the Republic decorated the GNR with the degree of Honorary Member of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator and with the degree of Commander of the Military Order of Aviz, Colonel Dias Rosa.
Before the march past of the forces on parade, the President of the Republic attended the Tribute to the GNR Dead, laying a wreath of flowers.
