Invited by President Aníbal Cavaco Silva, the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Armando Emílio Guebuza, will hold a State Visit to Portugal, on April 29 and 30.
The President of the Republic of Mozambique will be received in the Palace of Belém by the President of the Republic, who will host a banquet in his honour in the Palace of Ajuda. The Official Programme will also include a speech in a Plenary Session of Parliament and meetings with the Speaker and with the Prime Minister.
The Programme equally includes the visit of the Mozambican President to Portuguese projects in the area of renewable energies, as well as an Entrepreneurial Seminar, where business opportunities and strategies for the reinforcement of entrepreneurial cooperation between the two countries will be broached. The official closure of the Seminar will be presided by the two Heads of State.
The Mozambican retinue will include several members of the Government, as well as an important entrepreneurial deputation.
