Christmas in the Palace of Belém
The staff of the Presidency of the Republic and their families took part in a Christmas Party held in the Palace of Belém, which included the presentation of the musical show “The Wizard of Oz”, by the Filipe La Feria theatrical company, on show in the Politeama Theatre.
After excerpts played from the musical show, the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva greeted the cast and followed this with the traditional distribution of Christmas gifts to the children.
