Farewell in Porto Santo
The King and Queen of Spain said farewell to the Madeira Autonomous Region with a short trip to the Island of Porto Santo, which completed their three day Official Visit.
Having taken a walk through the city centre to the former City Hall, the Monarchs signed the City’s Book of Honour and after this left for luncheon at Porto Santo Golf Club.
In Porto Santo Airport, King Don Juan Carlos and Queen Doña Sofia received farewell compliments from the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva, as well as from the Regional authorities and the Mayor of Porto Santo.
