Tribute in the City Coucil
On the second day of his visit to the Madeira Autonomous Region, King Don Juan Carlos of Spain was presented with the Gold Medal of the City of Funchal, during a Ceremony held in the City Hall.
Welcomed outside the City Hall by the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva, and by the Mayor and Aldermen, the King and Queen of Spain signed the City Hall’s Book of Honour after the ceremony.
