Refurbishment of Silves Castle
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural act of the refurbishment works carried out in Silves Castle, where he unveiled a plaque alluding to the event.
After having watched the performance of the Orchestra of the Algarve, President Cavaco Silva visited the Cistern (Algibe) where the photographic exhibition “Silves under Development” is on show, and later viewed the Castle walls and the museum pieces installed in the Turrets.
