In the terms of item h) of article no. 133 of the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic, the President of the Republic accepted the proposal of the Prime Minister to appoint Prof. Doctor Fernando Teixeira dos Santos as Minister for the economy and Innovation, of Prof. Doctor António José de Castro Guerra, as Deputy Secretary of State, for Industry and for Innovation, of Dr. Fernando Pereira Serrasqueiro as Secretary of State for Trade, Services and Consumer Defence, and of Dr. Bernardo Luís Amador Trindade, as Secretary of State for Tourism.
The President of the Republic will empower the new members of the Government on 6 July next at 10.30 hours, in the Palace of Belém.
