Decoration ceremony

President decorates Eng. Jorge Moreira da Silva, who will be exercising duties in the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

The President of the Republic decorated Eng. Jorge Moreira da Silva with the rank of Grand Officer of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator. Eng. Jorge Moreira da Silva will resign the office of Consultant to the President for Science and Environment to become the Consultant of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for the area of energy and climate change.

In the performance of these duties, Jorge Moreira da Silva will lead the area of the new financial mechanisms for energy and climate change.
