Journey in a Carris bus

Application of Mathematics in Transport and Logistics took the President on a visit to Carris (Lisbon Public Transport Company)

The President of the Republic travelled by coach from Lisbon to Miraflores, Oeiras, where he visited the Carris facilities, to be shown Mathematical applications to Transport and Logistics.

The role of Mathematics in operational research in innovation, control and planning of networks and the presentation of a project of Integrated Management of Transport Systems (GIST) were the object of the visit of President Aníbal Cavaco Silva.
