Visit to ISA
Within the programme of the 5th Campaign of the Route to Science, the President of the Republic visited the Higher Institute of Agronomy, in Lisbon, where he was shown the use of Mathematics in the management and assessment of impacts of fire risks and on the effects of forest fires.
Precision wine-growing, with a visit to a vineyard prepared for it, and a visit to the Olive Oil Laboratory of the Institute completed the presence of President Cavaco Silva in this unit of Lisbon Technical University.
