In the introduction to “Routes III”, President Cavaco Silva approaches effects of the economic and financial crisis

Grouping the more significant speeches delivered by the President of the Republic during his third year in office, from 9 March 2008, the book “Routes III” has 376 pages, with five chapters and several annexes, as well as the steps of the presidential agenda and dozens of pictures.

President Aníbal Cavaco Silva sorted the introduction he wrote for “Routes III” in the following chapters: “The economic and financial crisis”; “The President of the Republic and the Autonomous Regions”; “Listening to Youth” and “The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces”.

With a circulation of 3,000 copies, the book was printed in Munken Lynx paper, produced with environmentally acceptable methods certified by the “Forest Stewardship Council”.

A digital presentation of the book will shortly be made available in the official site of the Presidency of the Republic on the Internet, through the “Direct Presidency” link, in the main menu, under the title “Publications”.
