Prize for Innovative Entrepreneurship in the Portuguese Diaspora
The President of the Republic addressed Portuguese talent in the Diaspora, through The Star Tracker social network, to request the dissemination of the Prize for Innovative Entrepreneurship in the Portuguese Diaspora. The message sent was as follows:
“Dear members of Star Tracker network,
The strengthening of the relationship between the Portuguese communities residing abroad and our country has been one of the main priorities of my mandate as President of the Republic. As such, I have launched the idea of the primary need to muster the resources of our Diaspora.
The prize for Innovative Entrepreneurship in the Diaspora is recognition of the exceptional contributions of the Portuguese in their host countries and a celebration of the Portuguese and Luso-Descendant talent in the five corners of the world.
I have once more decided to use my Star Power wish to request your cooperation in identifying our fellow citizens whom you believe could be deserving of the Innovative Entrepreneurship Prize in the Diaspora. Since I am well aware that the Star Tracker community adhered enthusiastically to the first edition of this initiative, I am certain that your capability for mobilization and cooperation will again be critical for the success of this Prize.”
