Battle of Aljubarrota
President Cavaco Silva attended the inaugural ceremony of the Battle of Aljubarrota Interpretation Centre, which will be located in Campo de S. Jorge, where the battles took place in 1385.
Supported by the Battle of Aljubarrota Foundation, the new historical area will reproduce the event that then took place through a multimedia presentation.
After being welcomed with Military Honours, the President attended a ceremony allusive to the act, during which he delivered a speech.
