Ceremony in “Liga dos Combatentes”
The President of the Republic presided, in the Headquarters of “Liga dos Combatentes”, in Lisbon, at the Commemorative Ceremony of the 200th Anniversary of the “Torre e Espada” Order, during which he delivered a speech.
On the occasion, President Cavaco Silva conferred certificates of Honorary Member to the eleven personalities decorated with the “Torre e Espada” Order.
After visiting the Exhibition alluding to the highest Portuguese military decoration, the President attended the ceremony launching the commemorative Seal of the 200 Years of the “Torre e Espada” Order.
