The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva attended, in the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Theatre, a concert by Teresa Salgueiro, accompanied by the João Cristal Septet.
The concerto was hosted by the President of the Republic in honour of the City of Rio de Janeiro and was included the programme of his visit to Brazil, on the occasion of the Commemorations of the 200 years of the arrival of the Court.
The Governor of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Sérgio Cabral Filho, and the City’s Mayor, César Maia, were also present at the show.
