President welcomed by the people of Lagares
The President of the Republic visited Lagares, Penafiel, where he officially opened the local Community Centre.
During the welcoming ceremony which followed in the Main Hall of the Lagares Development Association, President Cavaco Silva delivered a speech.
After lunch, he visited the Quintandona Historical Village, in the outskirts of Lagares.
