Luncheon on the occasion of the Signature of the Treaty of Lisbon
The President of the Republic hosted an official luncheon, which was held in the National Coach Museum, in honour of the signatories of the Treaty of Lisbon.
Upon arrival, the Heads of State and of Government of the Member States of the European Union presented their greetings to President Cavaco Silva.
The official photograph was taken in the Hall of Honour of the Museum.
Before the luncheon started, the President of the Republic proffered words allusive to the moment and toasted the signatories and the Signature of the Treaty of Lisbon with a 1957 Port, the year the Treaty of Rome was enacted.
