Arrival at Santiago
The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva arrived in Santiago do Chile, starting a two day official visit at the invitation of the Chilean President, Michelle Bachelet.
The presidential retinue included the Minister for Culture, the Assistant Secretaries of State for European Affairs and for Industry and Innovation, and a deputation of 30 entrepreneurs active in various types of business.
After the official visit, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva will participate in the XVII Iberian American Summit, which is being held in the Chilean capital.
