Ceremony in the Alqueva Dam
The President of the Republic, Mrs. Cavaco Silva and the Princes of Asturias took part in the ceremony where the International Prize “Puente de Alcântara” was awarded to the Alqueva Dam, and later presided at the inaugural ceremony of the Memorial Sculpture of the Hydroelectric Power Plant of the Multipurpose Alqueva Undertaking.
The President of the Republic delivered a speech during the ceremony.
