Conference in Stanford
The President of the Republic visited the University of Stanford, in California, and addressed a conference on the topic “Portugal: the other history – links to the future”, in the auditorium of the Higher Business School.
Upon arrival at the University, President Anibal Cavaco Silva was received by the Dean of the educational establishment, John Hennessy, who invited him to visit the Memorial Church and to lunch in the building dedicated to former North American President Herbert Hoover.
After the Conference the President of the Republic answered questions that were placed by University professors and students.
