Within the programme of his State Visit to Angola, the President of the Republic decorated, with the Grand Cross of the Order of Christ, the Archbishop Emeritus of Luanda, Cardinal Dom Alexandre do Nascimento.

The decoration ceremony was held in the Residency of the Portuguese Embassy in the Angolan capital.
